I support our soldiers in every way that I can. I truly hope that all of them could come home uninjured in anyway possible. BUT I know that this won't happen. So I do say a prayer for them and wish them the very best and hope that they will ALL be home soon. May GOD BLESS each and every one of them. |

Love them for selecting an honourable profession.
Only wish them a sensible Commander-in-Chief. |

The men and women of the US Armed forces have disproportionally come from families of working class background. They come from the "heart" of the country. These are the people who serve even though they haven't realized their American Dream.
One has to admire them some way or another, but right now I just feel sorry for them. These are folk that don't believe the world owes them anything. They are ready to work there way up in life.
They joined the military to help put them through collage, or pay those extra bills. But now they are in Iraq serving politicians (liars). They are the victims caught in the middle of lies and greed. They are no better off then the Iraqis right now.
The price they will pay is higher than any of us. Many of their families are destroyed, or will be after their return. The psychological impact of this war will effect our country deep into the future.
I can't say more. I'm too sad. |

I'm proud of our soldiers and pray for their safe return. My nephew is being deployed this summer, and he's raring to go. Of course I'd rather not see anyone put in harm's way, especially a family member, but such is the life of soldiers.
Good luck and Godspeed.
Had to comment on an earlier answer-
He did not going to pay for school. He does not feel trapped. Both his parents have active military careers and he followed in their footsteps. We couldn't be more proud of him. |

I support them 100%. they risk their lives to protect our freedoms. here's a portion of a poem I wrote on the subject:
"while yall've turned into gripers,
our boys are facing snipers
it's time we gave some credit
to these men (how long I've said it)
what heroes they have been
they've laid aside their fears
their blood mixes with tears
some never return 'gain
for all that they've been through
they get beat black and blue
by citizens without a clue
whose words 'n hearts aren't true
so you can sit and criticize
these men who've given up their lives
but it's 'bout time you realize
you profit from their enterprise" |

NO i dont,
i feel sorry for them having to be away from their loved ones, and for their loved ones that go off to bed every night praying that they have not had a knock on the door to day that we are so sorry that your love one has just died. |

I honor their service, and respect their sacrifice, and pray to God they can all make it back safely, with their mission accomplished. God bless them. |

OF COURSE I WOULD NEVER GET CAUGHT SPEAKING OUT AGAINST THE TROOPS BECAUSE THAT IS DANGEROUS BUT BY USING THE ANOMINITY OF THE INTERNET I CAN TELL YOU THAT WE HAVE NO RIGHT TO BE IN IRAQ AND OR MILITARY IS FULL OF SIMPLETONS TRAINED TO MURDER, TORTURE AND KIDNAPP. THATS WHY I DON'T GIVE MONEY TO VETERANS BEGGING AT HIGHWAY EXITS BUT INSTEAD HOPE THEY ARE SUFFERING FOR CARRYING OUT THE CRIMES OF OUR COUNTRY. BY THE WAY I HAVE A PEACEFUL GOVERNMENT JOB - HAHAHAHA. |

I do support the soldiers. My boyfriend is my hero and I have been there through all of his pain and suffering after he got back from iraq, and i have seen the things that he went through for our freedom and i love him for that. I know that i dont always agree on what the government has our sodiers doing, but some of them dont agree with it either, what is important is that they are there to protect us and will always be my heroes. Thanks to all of the men and women serving our country. You are all heroes |

Of course, all of them, it's only human.
Many of them are badly led and require better training and tactical philosophy, as such I would prefer it if they stopped fighting and went home.
War should continue to become a human problem not a national one. The UN isn't perfect but it's all we've got. |

Being a military wife, daughter, grandaughter, sister, cousin and friend is an honor. To be around people that put the safety of everyone else before themselves is wonderful. I think they all deserve a lot more that what they get, even though that is not what they do their jobs for. Knowing that my children are safe because these men and women put their lives on the line. Thank you to all our Armed Forces! |

I'm in the military. Thanks for all the great answers. This question though is absurd. While we were in Iraq our leaders would tell us that the demonstrations against the war meant that those people didn't support us. Not true. No matter how you feel about the war, you must support your troops. They only do as they are charged to and they do it to the best of thier ability. But its not just the war. Its the everday stuff we do that keeps this country secure and free. |
