How do you think soldiers really feel?

Many focus on the plan of action for the day or time period (say a march) - to feel outside of the career they are in.
All military people feel the same as civilians do.
Some hate the decisions made - some understand them, some love everything going on and a few do not know what IS going on. They ARE people first.
When coming home is when the feelings start. And when leaving the military and returning to being a civilian is when they all feel all the emotions.
It depends on what they did during their career in the military. I was fortunate - I was underwater and the world was at Peace for my career - so I adjusted well. The whole spectrum of emotions is felt by military people.
Fortunately no one is spitting on them at airports or in uniform while at home - as too many in US history suffered through.

Don't forget many are scared and yet do their job so professionally no one knows.

Most days I felt really good. It was those days after getting wasted at the NCO club that really gave me hell, especially if we flew several missions the next day.

Getting short feels great.

Steven J are you a idiot dude? Were being trained by Special Force, Special OP soldiers who have already been overseas and know exactly what needs to be learned. America is the most bad *** country ever. We have first hand information over everything thats taking place in their country. We have more Control over their country than they've ever.
