How fast would North Korea be take over if they provoked China.?

yea, N. Korea is pretty unstable economically, in which it would be hard to arm you soldiers if you don't have the money to do so. China would come down so fast if they had to.

You say 30 years behind? i say N. Korea is 50 years behind in military. they probably have not changed much fighting strategy since the Korean war. training wise, there is a branch that is well trained in warfare, but their war time strategy may be the problem, notice that they train mostly in the art of fighting, not in the art of logistics (which is more important than fighting itself). plus China themselves have proved that they can fight well in the Korean penninsula.

North Korea has the 3rd largest Army in the World. After all it is the only way to get food there. South Korea is good but I feel that without the UN backing, North Korea would attack and take over the country. Did you know that the bridges that connect the North to the South have explosives in them so that in case of invasion, the South can blow the bridge away? I do feel that China would step in and fight against the North If they decide to invade the South because of the bad PR world-wide they would receive for supporting them. China is trying to get acceptance as a super-power so might be less likely to support North Korea if Kim does something stupid. However, 30-year old guns kill just as easily as new guns. Plus Korea is not flat, it is Mountainous and gets cold and snowy. North Korea wouldn't invade China, they need the alliance. Of course, Kim is crazy, so who knows!

I think all the areas around NK should evacuate and then China, USA and whoever else hates then should bomb the hell out of that country. Hit them with nukes/whatever will get the job done. Problem Solved.

Do not under estimate N.Korea. Do not over estimate China. If the two went at it, there is little doubt that China would eventually win, just in sheer numbers. N. Korea is like a rabid pit bull, anyone who would want to mix it up with these bad boys is in for a major confrontation.

If we had to lock horns with N. Korea and decided not to do it from the air, than I say screw it, bring back Napalm and lots of it!

I think you have your army's confused. With north korea's two year boot camp and special warfare training the north korean army is pretty advanced. They do not however have very many aircraft. The chinese do. The reason that the u.s. is still in S. korea is if we leave the north koreans will demolish south korea. I think that between N. korea and china it would be a long war. China is quickly on its way to becoming the second largest super power in the world.
