How hard is it to switch your MOS in the navy...while on DEP?

ive been wanting to switch it but i dont think my recruiter is going to swtich it or let me leave earlier...i keep telling him i want to but he says im trying everytime....its been like 3 months so far...and i think that this is just going to go on untill october when i leave...im already in the navy...signed a contract and i dont think hes going to do anything else for me to be honest....anyone have any answers that will help me switch my MOS

haha i told him i was having second thoughts...now hes trying to screw me over by giving me a job that requires color vision when im color blind..... and now i think he hates me lol

Call him every day, go in every day. The reason they are reluctant to do it is because it is extra work for them. Get a hold of the guy who is in charge of that recruiting command. If you're recruiter won't help you, someone will and persistence will get you there.

Funny thing is, if it were to benefit them, they'd change it within two days for you.

Just keep at it, it will happen.

The way to get your recruiters attention is to skip a monthly meeting and when he calls you up, tell him you're having second thoughts.
