How has the Iraq war benefited the Middle East?

Definitely benefited the US more with all the Oil resources they now have control over. However that's also counter balanced by the loss of soldier life, citizen support as well as global credibility (not to mention a sharp increase in anti-US sentiments).
The Iraqis got the sore end of the deal as well as they are still living in a country overrun by guerrilla warfare and asphyxiating civil rights, not to mention the 'target mixups' that kill civilians everyday.
It's funny how we label what they commit as 'terrorism' all the while we drop another bomb on another nation - and then call it 'patriotism'.
Bottom line, in war everyone loses... except the people investing in weapons manufacturing who definitely win.

From a purely business standpoint, war is economically beneficial for industrial manufacturing companies and businesses that specialize in logistical operations such as supply/resupply. Many companies around the world are involved with the "rebuilding of Iraq" and are making huge profits. Not only are US companies generating huge profits but so are companies from neighboring countries such as Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.

This war is about oil and nothing more than that. The war has not benefitted anyone but the Bush administration including Cheney. His old company Haliburton is really raking in the money. That is who is benefitting from this war

for iraq they have there freedom they do not have to worry about what they say they have free speach they do not have to worry about going to jail for something they said or dying for it. They can wear what they want. They have more freedom then they ever had before. We only went in there to help them and to get a hold of suddom because he was a threat to us weather people want to belive that or not that is there choice and bc of us so do the iraqies they have choices now too bc suddom is gone!

At this point in time the question cannot be answered because it is not over or settled yet. If the Iraqi's can forget the tribal and religious factions/history and elect a stable government they may get peace. The "peace" they lost under Saddam was the peace of do it my way or I will nerve gas you, torture you or kill your family; the end result of the war in Iraq is not known so the question right now can't be answered well. The losses in civilian life now due to terrorist actions, in-fighting among the tribal, religious and ethnic groups are bad but the actions taken against the Kurds and Shiites in southern Iraq by the previous government resulted in a much larger number of deaths so yes the people in general are probably safer now then previously.

It has given the Iraqi people freedom's they have never had and just because they are fighting among themselves all the time we can't change that they have been at a religious war for centuries.We have gained a foot hold in watching Iran,that is very important they will use this nuke they are so quickly trying to finish.We can't let the middle eastern radicals destroy the oil,every nation in the world that is industrial,dependent upon it for many reasons.They could collapse the world economy. This we can not let occur!
