How long after AIT do I recieve my Bonus?

I shipped off to BCT on 28AUG08 and graduated AIT on 27MAR09. It is now 27APR09 and I am really needing my bonus. I let my unit know this as soon as I reported to them. Being independent is quite expensive for a 19 y/o...Yeah, in the reserves, not active...My mistake.

I'm in the reserves, and it really is depending on the budget at your unit. You're SUPPOSED to get it 30-45 days after completion of AIT, but I didn't get mine...for...5 months. I graduated AIT Feb 08 and didn't get it until JULY!! But on the other hand, I know fellow reservists who didn't have to late that long. But the Budget is in control of that. Unfortunately.

Make copies of your orders awarding you your MOS, along with a copy of your contract with the bonus addendum and you should get your bonus with in about 30 days give or take.

Your UA will let you know if you need any addition paper work sent up.

It's in your contract. It will tell you if you're to be paid in one lump sum or over a certain time frame. It's not based on the state since the reserves are FEDERAL. So don't listen to those people. Listen to the first guy.
