How long is AIT training for Infantry? (army)?

My boyfriend is enlisting in the army and wants to do Infantry. How long is AIT training? not basic

will he get to come home in between sometime then? graduation? family day?

about 15 - 17 weeks

my brother was in fort knox. he's a tanker. he got family day and graduation. no they do not get leave.
he was free to go Right after graduation.

Paradox

AIT and BCT are combined for 11B (Infantry), in a program called OSUT (One Station Unit Training). It's 14 weeks total. Normal Basic Training is 9 weeks.

My boyfriend is in basic training and he'll graduate on May8th overall, he has to spend 21 weeks both basic and ait training. He cant go off base on graduation day but he can get off of base on family day. He has 13 weeks left of AIT training. He'll be able to get weekend passes to see family for AIT. For AIT graduation they will certainly send letters home along with a map. Also there are a couple of weeks he will spend at the reception which will not count along with the 21 weeks.
