First: The president is in no way responsible for the death of soldiers in war. People die in war. If anything we should be grateful that so few have died. Over 400 people died every day in vietnam and even more died per day in WWII.
Next: The reasons for going into Iraq had everything to do with our national security and nothing to do with oil. If you have proof that we have comandeered any oil wells than please, reveal your sources to the world. You won't find it by the way, because we do not have possession of any Iraqi oil wells. They are controlled by Iraqi oil companies owned and run by Iraqi citizens.
True we did not find the weapons of mass destruction which bothe British and US intelligence concluded were in Iraq, but we do know that Sadaam had them 15 years ago and we know (According to Bill Clinton anyway) that they had them in 1999. We also know that Sadaam moved them around a lot to evade U.N. inspectors and refused to allow them into the country when they were getting too close. Do you really think that they just disappeared between 1999 and 2003? I don't think so. |

The very second Bush does something worthy of being impeached, you know like clinton did, then I hope justice will be served. with clinton it was not. until then you need to come to the realization that, even if you don't agree with bush or the government you can't do jack about it except of course post dumb *** questions and complain complain complain. |

You liberals on this site should be extermely thankful for the BRAVE men and women that have sacrificed their lives for you & our country. If our armed forces were not the best in the world in every conflict we have been in - we all might be speaking a different language. Remember IT IS THE SOLIDER THAT HAS DIED TO PROTECT YOUR FREEDOMS AND YOUR RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH. Godspeed to all our troops, and may they return home from danger safely. |

You democrats. Everytime anything goes wrong in the world, you use it to your advantage. This means you're rooting for bad things to happen. Thats sad.
Bush is here for another couple of years. I think its probably time you accept it. |

Yes, soldiers die, its fact that some soldiers will die in a war or battle. The refference to Bush is he hold power to make the decision to remove these soldiers from a war which we no longer should be in. Our (USA's) presence in Iraq is now more of a hold pattern to guide thier developing nation to "US" way of life.
So Bush, the president, does have the power to limit the deaths count of our soldiers by removing them from the direct line of fire. As to a number of how many more, I think president Bush will rather save face than admit "defeat". So our soldier will stay in Iraq until it is a full democracy that has strong allegience to the United States. |

I seem to recall that 62 million people voted for Bush. Seems that lately a lot fewer are willing to admit to voting for him. Like it or not, he's got almost 3 more years before we can vote for a new President. Nothing we can do about it. |

Unfortunately, long after the Chimp has moved on to his elder statesman role, we will still have KIAs and hunderds of young men and women coming back with their arms and legs blown off. I am not holding out for impeachemnt and removal from office - but there will be consequences that will come back on this administration and the Chimp's handlers. |

I'm afraid our troops will be dying over there for many years to come , Bush got us into this bogus war that has no end in site , it was not for our freedom ,it was not for Iraqi freedom , it was business and oil nothing more.
LOL Clinton got a BJ and lied about ,yeah thats far worst then what Bush has done ( not ) |

Of course he's responsible!!! He put the soldiers into "Harm's Way". It's pretty well been proven that the Iraq War was unnecessary but just for business reasons. |

first i wanna say that i am an American high school student, and i live 38 miles from the North Korean border, every few months, i am reminded with military excercises how hard these men and women will(and do) fight to protect us, these people have vowed to give their lives to get us out of any danger. also, i have an older brother currently serving in Djibouti, and he has been to the desert on 3 tours, on the convoys, dodging bullets.
soldiers dying has nothing to do with ridding Bush, if you want to rid the country of Pr. Bush, write to your congressman asking to impeach him, (if you do this, try and think up something clever to have him impeached for, if you can't, shutup and be thankful you arent in danger)
and at the current rate, which i think is about 1-2 soldiers a week, 52 weeks a year, with 8 gone so far, the election is in 2008, 496 soldiers till november 2008 at a rate of 2 per week |

i have to agree; soldiers will always die. you cant hold bush responsible for that. they know what they're getting into when they go overseas and such.
