Salary while undertaking Military (Recruit) Training: $1,138 per fortnight ($29,670 per year).*
Salary while undertaking Initial Employment Training: $1,300 per fortnight ($33,909 per year).*
While under training, you will also receive $315 per fortnight ($8,224 per year) Trainee Allowance.
Salary (excluding allowances) on completion of Initial Employment Training: $1,524 per fortnight ($39,745 per year).*
Uniform Allowance at a rate of $16 per fortnight ($419 per year)* is paid to assist members to maintain an approved scale of uniforms in good order and condition.
Service Allowance at the rate of $420 per fortnight ($10,971 per year) is paid (except while undertaking Recruit and Employment training) to compensate a member for the unique requirements that service life may impose on an individual and his or her family.
Each General Entry job in the Australian Defence Force is classified into a pay group. Rifleman is classified as a Pay Group 2 occupation.
Salary will continue to increase based on rank and the number of years of service completed in that rank. Pay Group may also increase following the acquisition of additional skills and completion of advanced courses. |

I'm not sure what your getting at.
On completion of IET's you'll be on about 50k. After a year itll go upto around 51k.
You'll stick at ~51k for a couple of years (excluding increases for CPI) til you get a hook and become a lance-jack. |
