I've seen both random and 100% in the unit while in the Army. They called us early in the morning for the 100% to tell us to make sure to bring our ID cards and drink water. |

My husband is in the military & they do randomly drug test them. It's not very often though. Probably every 3ish months. |

he has been luck or lying to you. in the air force they do it nearly every weekend. i hope they catch him and throw him out. |

They can test anyone anytime, especially if there's cause. It's seldom done, however. If there's an accident or incident that causes harm to something or someone, they will test. In all my 20 years, I was never randomly tested. |

if they suspect something then they can test you whenever... your cousin may be drinking stuff that cleanses his/her urine from pot.. my husband's roommate smoked pot all the time and didn't get caught until his SFC heard about a party over the weekend.. |

they can do it when ever they want to. I have known it to be 2 in 3 in the morning. |

The army does random drug tests...your cousin is pretty dumb because there can be severe consequences if and when he gets caught. |

It actually depends if they go by social security number, last name, rank, or even brigade number. I was in the navy 3 years and was only tested 3 times from 1991-1994 but I had nothing to hide either from the military. |

DoD labs test 60,000 urine samples each month. All active duty members must undergo a urinalysis at least once per year. Members of the Guard and Reserves must be tested at least once every two years. There are several protections built-in to the system to ensure accurate results. |

It also depends on what job you are doing. I know at Nuke Power School were were tested all the time. I had 4 urinalysis tests in 6 months including a command sweep (100% testing). |

They do it randomly, but just because they havent done it yet doesnt mean they arent going to. Then they will find out he's doing drugs, and he will be phucked. |
