To join, it doesn't need to be any specific length, when you get to reception, they will buzz it with a 0. They will also charge you like $5.

To join, it can be any length. Once you arrive at basic training, it will be shaven off. It will remain that way through out basic, and maybe AIT. Once your arrive at your duty station, you hair must be in accordance with Army Regulation 670-1.

marines get the "high and tight" which is like stubby short on the sides and very short (<1 in) on top

Any length you want when you join. They will buzz it after your in however.

I don't know whose military you're trying to join, but in the USA, there is no hair requirement for joining the military. If your hair interferes with your ability to move, it would disqualify you, but otherwise it doesn't matter.

After you join, your hair goes bye-bye.

In basic training and advance individaul training, the hair length is about .25''. In your permanent duty station, over the ears, neck shaved and the length of the top is less than over your eye lids. These are the guidelines for the army.

I am pretty sure there are NO hair length requirements, as during the whole, initiation(I know that is not the word) process they handle hair length. They have Army Barbers to take care of it.

A guys hair can be any length when he joins the military.......Uncle Sam issues all new recruits the proper haircut (shaved bare as a baby's bottom) as soon as they get to Basic Training.

I don't know about on the top of your head, but the back is not meant to be touching your collar. I think it needs to be pretty short on top as well.

your hair lenth doesnt matter to join the militaty. but marine corps regulations alow up to 3 inches on top but it has to be faded down to o

i think shaved....but i dont think its a problem if your a guy
