Okay i was just sworn in last Saturday but I don't deploy for bootcamp until February!
I really don't want to go to the navy but the situation i'm Living in won't allow me to which sux!
My question is how do I get out be4 I go to boot camp?

You are still in the delayed entry program and can request to be discharged from DEP at any time prior to your final enlistment which is done just before shipping to boot camp. |

Request a DEP discharge, in writing, to the Commanding Officer of your recruiter.
Why did you sign up to begin with? |

Go speak to the Recruiter and tell them you have changed your mind and want out. Sign the paperwork necessary and you are out. |

You dont have to go to boot camp. You are not actually sworn in until you get to bootcamp. Even then, you have up until 6 months following your official swearing in to leave under an administrative seperation for 'unable to conform'. They say it just 'wasnt your cup of tea'. I spent five years in, spent plenty of time sifting through paperwork. NO ONE HAS TO GO TO BOOTCAMP. If they say you will be arrested, blah blah blah, report them for harrassment because these are lies and they are NOT ALLOWED to do it.
An 'official' way to get them off your back is to write a letter to the CO of the MEPS you went to, say you want paperwork stating the fact that you are NOT going and NOT obligated. They are required to respond and give you that paperwork within 45 days.
You are not obligated and there is nothing wrong with changing yoru mind. That is why recruiters try to scare and intimidate with jail/prison or 'permenently on your record'. It is BS.
If you are already in boot camp, you can leave within 6 months. Just walk out. They will send you your paperwork. You wont be 'awol' because you are not actually in the military until AFTER bootcamp. So you can't get in trouble.
If you are past your 6 month mark in the military, there is a great resource on getting out in a GREAT way. It wont be available forever but I have two friends that used it.

Ask your recruiter, under certain reason you don't has to goes to bootcamp and out of Navy, such as college accept. etc..
Some recruiter probably will hate your because all those time and effort they spend on your will going to toilet, they depend on quota for their performance. |
