The day I graduated high school, I went to my local MC recruiting office with my dad, looked at the recruiter, and said "I don't care what happens, what I'm in for, or where I'll be going. - Where do I sign?"

EDIT...I didn't even think about this question being about your parents...I'm dumb dude, sorry.
My parents didn't like it at first, especially my mother, but they got over it after I told them why exactly I wanted to join. I said it was a family tradition to enlist, has been for over a century. I said if my life did end before I grew old, I wanted it to be for America, not for some other cause, maybe for none at all. After I graduated MCRD PI, they were both crying, proud of me - And you better believe just typing that brings tears to my eyes right this moment, won't even lie. When you graduate for the Army, if you choice that over any other branch, that will be one of the most awesome feelings you will EVER feel, believe me.
You won't regret it, and neither will your parents. |

I am guessing you mean with your parents?
Just act like an adult and say it. They probably won't like it, but in time, if they love you, they will support your decision and your right to make it. |

By talking to the "right person". The right person being an Army Recruiter. :)
If you taslk to the recruiter and decide to enlist, you just tell your parents I have decided to enlist in the Army, real simple. |

Just do it. Longer you wait, the harder it will be to start the conversation. You may need to tell each parent separately. I told my dad first and then he was able to help me tell my mom. |
