My husband is currently enlisted in the US Army and we are considered middle class. Our family life is very tense and stressful. He is gone most of the time and when he is home it is only in the evenings. The deployments are the hardest part though and only the strongest of relationships can fully survive those. He is gone for 12-18 months with a 15-18 day leave in the middle. You have to have a lot of trust in your partner. We have one child that is 8 and when my husband leaves for deployment his grades drop and he becomes very angry. But that usually passes after a few weeks. You have to keep open lines of communication and you have to trust each other. The cheating in the military goes both ways. Good Luck and I hope this answer helps you in some way. |

My family: I guess, was considered lower middle class in beautiful Compton and Lynwood, California. Family life was still cool. We had love and we were thankful no matter all around us.
Me: I had no class.
But that was 20 plus years ago, I've grown up since. |

Middle class, my parents bust there *** everyday and I have nothing but respect for them. My quality of life at home is nice (dad is currently laid off tho :/ ), my parents always want the best for my brother and I. My living conditions had nothing to do with me enlisting, I simply knew I was going to for years... |

Join the Air Force and it will be middle class to maybe lower class...If you land a job other than security forces, vehicle ops, pararescue, etc., your family life will be just fine and have a decent place to stay with medical benefits. |
