How would you feel serving along side another man or woman in the military who was gay?

to each their own , keep your personal life away from work. if duty calls for a certain action and you let you're personal views get in the way that problem is on you whether your gay or not.

The military is not for me, but if I were to serve, serving alongside a gay male or female would be fine.

Why would I care? As long as they don't try to hit on me or disrespect me. Just like I wouldn't want a straight person to do. They are Americans defending our country just like all the straight people and that is a very brave and noble thing to do.

Gay people are people too, they just have different challenges than straight people. So I would feel just fine about serving with them, as long as they knew that I didn't approve of gay acts. There are many great people out there who are gay.

The guy sleeping on the top bunk next to me in BCT was gay. (I was on the bottom bunk)
I about kicked his ***. But, that wasn't because he was gay it was because he started hitting on me one night.

I also had a hair dresser in my unit once. During training when we had no access to a barber, he cut all our hair. It was kinda nice having him around. He didn't really have many male friends, naturally, but nobody really had a problem with him. He was a good guy.

I would absolutely not want to serve with gays in the military, the conditions in military bases do not leave much room for privacy, not to mention gays arent allowed anyways, it may be dont ask dont tell, but if theyre told on they can be kicked out
