ive heard stories i got alot of questions of my own, im going to basic next year after graduation, i heard the needle is HUGE and it makes your *** cheek numb, and i also heard its painful, im not looking forward to it AT ALL

they give it to you on a friday so you have the weekend to recover and stop limping |

They do not give anyone a penicillin shot in Basic.
Penicillin is an antibiotic, you only take antibiotics if you have a bacterial infection.
Plus, penicillin is given in pill form. |

Dude my *** hurt for a week!! Just make sure you massage that spot!! It's really quick and painless until... the next day! The needle isn't HUGE but it ain't small either HAHA |

heck yeah it hurts.
Imagine about 3 tablespoons of toothpaste going into the upper right quadrant of your buttocks.
you want the bicillin shot, there are a lot of diseased people coming into basic and you dont want to catch their germs |

I know the Navy now just gives you pills for it. However if your instructors catch you not taking it, they threaten you with the needle. |
