The minimum for a male 73 inches is 144lbs
My cousin had to see a nutritionist before she could go in. She gained weight but had to get a waiver because she was still 5lb under.
I've included a link to Army Regulation 600-9 -- The Army Weight Control Program |

Nope, you are about 10lbs under the minimum weight. Bulk up bro.
I actually joined the military out of highschool and I am the exact same height as you. At the time I was really skinny too, 135 lbs. I remember the doc doing my physical had to check the chart and I made the minimum by 3lbs. Of course I have bulked up a considerable amount since then, 180lbs now. The army is a good place to work on your personal health, skinny or fat. I think the tables might have changed since then because I looked it up and your minimum is at 140lbs, but they might have a different standard for being accepted. All I know is that 120 is definitely too low. |

Wow.... you're seriously underweight.
Go eat.
And uh, no I don't think the Army will take you in.
You need to weigh more. |

They are taking everyone right now. As long as you are not gay. And if you aren't on drugs. But you should take your asfav test first and look at the air force then navy then army then marines in that order. |

If you do not have any health issues, and can do a basic workout, ie 30 pushups, some pullups and run at least a mile without stopping the army will most likely take you. |

They'll let you go to MEPS and inprocess but then you'll be on the delayed entry program(DEP) until you gain some weight unless they want to waiver you to go to Basic....your best bet is to talk to the recruiter and get signed up to go to MEPS then you'll know where to go from there Good luck and thanks for considering the military. |

Although the Military has dropped some of the minimum requirements, they still do require you to be able to stay onboard of an Aircraft Carrier without being blown off the deck and out to sea. Now, FOR GOD SAKE'S go eat SOMETHING ?!?! |

You'll probably have to gain some weight. It's the recruiter's job to help you do that. |

For the Army, the minimum weight for you is 135 lbs (based on a height of 73")
The max height for someone weighing 120 lbs is 5'9". |

The Army is not in a position to turn anyone down right now. As long as you are in decent physical condition, you haven't done hard time in prison, and you're younger than your mid 40's you pretty much qualify. They will try to bulk you up a bit though. |

The question might be, do you think you would survive the rigors of military life from the physical point of view! You may have a problem in that respect! Sorry to have to tell you this........
Signed; 5' 6" 135 lbs |

I think your exaggerating on some part.I wrestle and went 145 at 6'1 and I was at 6% body fat with almost no muscle(benched max of 95 pounds),so either your writing this from a hospital or your full of B.S. |

NO OMG THAT LIKE THE SKINNEST but ur height is really tall so work out but u could be a basket ball player |

No, you need to weigh more than you currently do. I would call your local recruiter and ask this question so you can be sure you're getting the correct answer. Things may have recently changed, so you need to talk to someone who actually knows what they're talking about. Good Luck! |
