I'm really sad:: Marine Boyfriend...heellpppp... :(?

So, my boyfriend of 4 years joined the marines...and I am soo sad..i dont know what to think..what to do..we lived together for 2 years..but now he's leaving me and i feel lost and lonely..I dont know what to feel. I want to support him but I also want him to STAY WITH ME!!! I hate this sooo much....I can't deal with him not being near me or one call away...but i guess i have to be strong...its to hard..I just need advice and some "pick-me-ups" We are going to get married after he finishes boot camp at parris island..but i just dont want him to leave.........

Will he still love me the same? I hope
Will he think about me? I wish....

Well it is hard. i was with my boyfriend for 4 years before he joined the Marines. He is currently at his MOS school. you will be sad and confused about what to feel. I know i've been there. I know you want him to stay with you all the time but u just have to be strong, its tough going from seeing him everyday to rarely seeing him. Trust me i know! Listen i can't give all the advice on here and i can't help u through it on here but e-mail me we can keep in touch i can help you through it all. Its easier when u have a friend to talk to and who understands. what ur going through. I thought my boyfriend wouldn't love me the same but i was wrong our relationship is stronger than ever. Its still tough but u'll get through. Don't listen to people that tell you that he'll find someone else. If you really want to talk seriously e-mail me i would be glad to talk with you. Semper Fi

Just be glad he is going to be in boot camp and not overseas, if your acting this way now, wait till he goes over. Respect him for doing something so loyal to his country. Be strong for him. Tell him you are proud of him, I know it hurts, trust me, I am 5 months expecting, and my solider will not be here for the birth of our daughter. But at the end of the day, I know he is serving for a pretty damn good reason. For us, So be proud. There are support groups and such, take advantage of them.

It will be fine my husband, who I've been going out with for four years and just recently married him, is at basic and AIT right now. It's okay to cry every once in a while (I have been especially, it doesn't help that I am pregnant and my hormones are making me emotionally whacky, lol). He writes me as much as he can and it really reassures me. Just keep your head up, it will get better.
