Yes, I am proud of our military. They do a wonderful job. But with that they have great responsibility. And sometimes they don't make the right decisions or do the morally correct thing. Don't be so blinded by your pride for them that you overlook anything that is not admirable or acceptable.

You sure do like to pick on our people in the war zone. I'm trying to understand what went sour in your military career that makes you want to attack these brave men and women of today's armed forces. I was a Marine at the same time you were doing time, even before that. So, I'm real familiar with what the average GI was all about back then. I'm also involved, on a professional level with today's men and women of the armed forces. I've got to tell you, today's military is so much more intelligent, perceptive, professional and trained, than anything you or I saw when we were in. So, before you shoot off your mouth again about atrocities and Bush, let's wait until the final verdict is in regarding the shooting incident under investigation, in Iraq.

I can't adequately put into words How proud I am of our Military. They have done an OUTSTANDING JOB!

My brother is a Marine and is there right now. When he told me he was going to Iraq, He stopped being my brother an instantly became a HERO TO ME.

All of the men and woman who are ther now ARE HEROES.
Also the families of the deployed heroes, are heroes too.

GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS YOU ARE IN MY HEART AND IN MY PRAYERS EVERYDAY AND NIGHT.
Also God bless everyone who went into the Military,I wasn't able to because of medical problems,and it is something I will regret for the rest of my life.

Its all about balance. You should be critical of policy you disagree with, but supportive of the poor soldiers who risk their lives carrying it out.

Similarly you should be not be prepared to accept the word of the enemies of our troops at face value and without evidence.

No I do not agree with that statement. I support the war, I support the President and I support the military 100%. I don't agree with everything that happens and all the decisions that are made and just because we are the USA does not mean that we can do no wrong.

I think you need a reality check. First, "they can do no wrong", maybe you totally missed the news? Our Marines killed innocent men, women and children in a small village, no wrong you say? I think they did a lot of wrong there.

And as far as our prez goes, again, you need to open your eyes to what is going on. Since he has been in office (which he "fixed", hanging chads and all from his brothers state of Florida) he has systematically taken away rights of Americans.

Check out what I am saying. I choose to go through life with eyes open, not closed out of ignorance and blind patriotism.

yep! i totally do! that is why we have them...that is what they know and that is why they signed up...the military guys..the president..he's kinda a moe...i voted for him, but that's only 'cause i didn't want my vote to go null...and i thought alfred would be better than lurch..and he'd already been there..but i didn't want to..i didn't want either one, but hey, oh well.

No I don't. Any military who can summarily execute 19 people, including women and 3 year-old children and commit the atrocities they did to detainees are not worthy of respect.

As for the rest, I respect them, even though they are dying for nothing!

I do agree that I am proud of the military in general as a whole.To state that any group or individual can do no wrong is far fetched. Yes definitely may our troops be blessed.

I am proud of our outstanding military. Many of them are over there doing their job daily even if some of them are not in 100% agreement with what is happening. They have a job to do and they do it,and well.

I definitely disagree on the Bush statement.. I can't say that I have agreed with the way he's handled many things. I think a lot of people probabably will state the same.

As far as mistakes...hind sight is 20/20. Not all mistakes are acceptable just because we are the USA. I think we are starting to see that at present. Anymore fescious questions???

Suddam killed hundreds of thousands of innocent men,women and children because they wanted the freedom to think for themselves. Suddam can do no wrong. I love Suddam no matter what crimes against humanity he has commited. I really hope they dont kill Suddam in the same way he killed his citizens!!!!!!! You are an idiot and I think that if you dont support your military you should move the heck out of the United States of America. These men and women are over there far away from their families fighting and dying for you and you have no respect for that. You are an assh*le and are so damn lucky they you were not born in Iraq cause with the views that you have about your nation you would have been killed by Saddam years ago. I also dont believe the allagations against thos Marines but I do think with the heavy media coverage on it their trial will be completly bias and they will be found guilty whether innocent or guilty. Well obviously your not seeing things right! What if it was the other way around? what if Iraqi people were killing US civilians? would you be saying the same?
