Moscow would be the primary target, breaking the Russians would have allowed him to concentrate on the other allies.
Failing to get Moscow, any of the major Russian industrial cities or Stalingrad which would have blasted open that hole he needed to get to the oil fields. |

Moscow, by the time Hitler could of got a nuclear bomb Russia were the greatest threat |

Russia, probably the man hated everything about the place. Also it would have made him the first person to have succesfully invaded and conquered Russia.
London would not have been his first target as he openly said that he never wanted to go to war with Britain. Dont forget We went to war with Germany not the other way around. |

?

Well, since they were also working on a sub launched missile, I suspect maybe NYC. A nuke here there and the war would have ended in Hitler's favor pretty fast. |

whoever said he would of beat britain in the end without americas help. WRONG AGAIN
Anyway his first targets would of been London and New York. I cant remember the program but this was mentioned aswell as how america got information germany was developing a new kind of bomb. ie the atom bomb. He wpuld of used it not as america did because at the time he was struggling to keep the war going but as an act of desperation which i would of guessed would of ment the total annihilation of germany and its people through allied bombing 24/7. Remember Britain doesnt give up its land. |

I have read elsewhere that plans were being developed for long range versions of the V2 to deliver a "dirty" bomb to America. This is a standard TNT weapon with radioactive materials mixed in.
Having tried to find the materials again, I can't find the reference - but take some time to have a look. |

We know it was none of the countries he already occupied, he did not seem very concerned about the neutral countries, and Asis was fighting a different enemy.
I would therefore have to conclude that it would have been an industrial city, a port or metal-industry hub, either in the US, the UK, the Soviet Union or Egypt/Saudi
... we can be thankful that the US & the UK did not use it in Europe, and that only two such bombs were used in total, for there was no limit to how much damage the frenzy of hate and retaliations could have caused. |

London. Cut the head off the country and kick the Americans out of the war in Europe. |

He would of used it against the USA. The threat of nuclear attack against Britain would of been enough for us to surrender. He wouldn't of wanted to nuke anywhere in Europe, as it would of caused him too much trouble when the Germans occupied it.
An attack against USA would of won him the war! He'd of probably chucked a couple at Russia as well just out of spite! |

bcoz they are the superpower right now.

that depends on when he first got the bomb.
however overall i think he would have had the most impact on the outcome of the war if he used it against Russia.
i think invading Russia was about his biggest mistake opening more then one front was too much. |

London of course, as he was trying to break Britain. |

Depended on his target of opportunity. If he was close enough to Moscow, it would've been them, otherwise London would most likely have been the target. |

The Eastern front. He hated the Soviets with a passion and that's where most of the Germany soldiers fought and died. When Germany was over run, there was about 6 times more Soviet soldiers than Allied soldiers. |

Probably London, or some other major British city.

By that point, it would have been the United States, as he was already developing intercontinental Bombers, such as the Arado E.555 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arado_E.555). If he had developed the Nuclear bomb, New York would be a prime target. The US Forces had joined the war by that point and were supplying Britain with vehicles and troops to man an invasion force (We could sustain a good defence, but not push to invade without them.)
(We would have survived an invasion, The accurate wargame was played out by German and Allied commanders (Who were in command during the war) after the war and the Brits held out, pushed the German forces back and defeated the invasion force, before they reached London!.) |

London, Moscow or Stalingrad. These were the only large cities that he didn't control, that he could reach with a delivery system. |

london.. it has always been his first target. |

I do not believe Hitler would have used any nukes to attempt to destroy large targets like major cities. I think he would have found a way of developing nukes for use on small targets, like 1 plane dropping 1 bomb on an aircraft carrier or battle cruiser or destroyer to remove it as a threat. Back then the only way to cross the distance between the US and Europe was by ship, and almost all the British troops moved to Europe were by ship, so he would have had a major tactical advantage. Strategically speaking, given his population support and widespread control of most of Europe, having control of who lands on European soil would have been the tipping factor of the conflict. Major destruction of people he cared little about, being non-jewish, would not have been either a high priority or of great benefit to him.
Having said that, Hitler still would have eventually lost at some point, since his reign would have continued to grow across Asia and the dictators in power in those countries with far greater populations than Europe would never have accepted invasion, and joined allied forces in eliminating the Nazi movement.
It was a lost cause from the beginning, and any attempt to eliminate a system of belief will end the same way in the future, because everyone is a potential believer. |

It would have to depend on when the development came but either London to break the British morale or Moscow to finally break the russian. |

it would have been a fairly big but peripheral city probably in Russia first. he wouldnt have hit moscow or london as destroying these cities would have been detrimental to his aims of acquring them. after all he was after resources, so he wouldnt have destoyed such hubs of production. He would have tried to force Russia into submission, had that have worked Britain probably would have capitulated short term, until The US would have levelled things up when they acquired the bomb.
And who knows what could have happened from there?
America would have been well out of range of his bomber forces. |

you are all wrong!!!!!!!!!!! if the luftwaffer had won the battle of brittain the atomic bomb would have been produced in 1941-42 with england out of the war there would have been no greek campagain therefor operation barborosser would have started 6 weekes earlyier wich would have given the germans time to take moscow before the winter set in. with out moscow the russians would have collapsed in early 1942 this is universaly aggred by all major historians. with europe securly under the nazis the germans would have attacked america with an atomic bomb in 1944 (the plans were drawn up and had been aproved by 1940) the germans not only had missiles capable of reaching new york but (this is a very very well kept secrect that few people know) the germans had a sqaudren of bombers capable of reaching america from germany in fact in 1944 one was flown from the german boader to america and over new york.
seeing that the americans only managed to make an atom bomb with our (english) and german scientests the americans would have been knocked out of the world basicaly.
and the germans had jet planes and tanks that wernt rivaled by any thing the western allies had until the 50's |
