I Joined The Army As a 92 Yankee Unit Supply Specialist And I Got Airborne As Well. Where Could I End Up?

I leave for BCT October 4, 2010 at Fort Benning, GA for 9 weeks.. My AIT is in Fort Lee, VA for 8 weeks, and Airborne School is back in Fort Benning for 3 weeks. If I put down Fort Bragg as first choice, do I have a good chance of receiving orders there? Please don't tell me that the army will "send me where I'm needed".. I'm aware of that. Just curious.. Thanks ahead.

Really though, it's where they need you most.
Yes, Very possible you will get Bragg. Why? I put Korea as my first choice and after graduation in 2007 they had me on paper for Korea. They switched it though at the last second so I didn't end up being where I wanted. But I was with the best Army Unit with lots of history. The Big Red One.
But don't get your hopes up. Every Unit has a Supply.
Have fun @ Benning. I was there for 16 weeks including the Winter..It '' nice '' during the day. Expect 15-30 Degrees in the Morning and you will be running Alot in it. |
