it's no question we can beat the Taliban and Al-qaeda
in Conventional warfare but I think The Taliban(BTW why are we fighting these guys,I see goin after Al-qaeda but why the Taliban they didn't attack us on 911, but I guess if were there they will fight)
But I think the Terrorist Tactics are outpassing ours
they're using a guerilla/urban warfare but this is totally different then when we fought the VC.
these guys shoot at us then run in civilian areas and I think they hope we bomb them, I think they want us to kill their Civilians(by doin that they kill keep their recruitment going and keep their underlings motivated)

Afghanistan will become a long drawn out affair. Time is what they have plenty of (Taliban).
The coalition are doing a good job. The Taliban are licking their wounds, the have suffered heavy losses. I think the strategy is working, but not as fast as some people would like.
I'm sure guys over there would like it to go quicker. This is not a conflict, its a war, a world war (The global war against terrorism) and wars tend to take time. |

why are we fighting these guys?
The Tali-ban supported and supplied refuge to Bin Laden and his 'merry band', Al Qaeda.
The idea is to pacify the place, sector by sector and put Afghan troops in to maintain order.
Since you think you know better, how about contacting President Obama? That would make more sense than just venting here.
He has people that actually read his Emails and he reads some every day. |
