I don't understand how people don't support our troops?

i've been to iraq twice and i sleep fine. these people that say things like you said, doesn't bother me a bit. if everything was rainbows, unicorns, hearts or whatever, these people would still find something to complain about.

Americans have mostly lived a charmed life and society has become soft. A soft society becomes complacent and cowards become the rule. It is a fact in the life cycle of all great civilizations and these people signal the end to come.

People have the right to the way they believe. It's called living in a free country but people like Obama would take that freedom away from all the whites and have the blacks and Muslim's take our freedom from us and enslave us. I think we need to send all the liberals to Iraq and Iran and let them live there along with all the Muslim's who want to enslave white American's. I am for the troops but make sure they do a damned good job of killing the "bad" guys.

We never realize how greatfull we should be for the troops. Because of the troops, we get the right to say what we want. People saying F*** the troops don't realize because of the troops, they get the right to say that. Imagine if the country says that you have to do 4 years in the Armed Forces when you reach 18. Graduate high school, and off to boot camp. It'll be alot diffrent of how we say things about the troops. Luckily here, we have the choice: The choice to defend our freedom for others to enjoy the freedom, or the choice to enjoy the freedom that someone is fighting for.

I think the vast majority of people support the troops. Sure there are some sick ones, that demonstrate at the funerals of brave men and women who paid the ultimate price. What's truly ironic is these brave souls gave their lives for principles that allow these creeps to disgrace their funerals.

Ignorance is contagious! More than likely it's an organization that believes we should get rid of our military all together. As much as I hate to say it, my family has been defending their free speech for over 90 years. All those who are in the service are my family, sons, daughters, brothers and sisters.

its nice to know that there are still people out there who support our soldiers..my truck is covered with magnets and stickers (a little over done, but when it comes to that i dont care)..i have 2 brothers, 5 friends currently there and 4 more who were there and i leave in sept..and believe me i do my best to annoy and piss those people off who are against it

Honestly, I have never heard anyone say anything bad, or derogatory about the troops. Saying going into Iraq was based on lies, yes I have heard that. Saying Bush can't be out of office quick enough, heard that too. Ever heard anyone say anything negative about the troops, never. Not supporting the war, is not the same as not supporting the troops.

You don't have to support the war in Iraq to support our troops.The war is something our government sanctioned but the troops are our sons, daughters, mothers and fathers!! Should have tried coming home from Vietnam now that was a home coming-------still have bad memories.

ok this i5rory guy is dumb ok we went in there as desert shield to protect the oil fields. now it is iraqi freedom so you tell me who is doing wrong us or them. my brother is in iraq right now and he told me that he was on a short patrol and he was shot at by a 7-9 year old kid, he had to shot that kid. then he said he was sorry but he did his job! the iraqies are giveing there kids guns to kill our troops. so fu*k you and your politics. the people that volinterd are really helping you. because if people were not doing it the goverment would start a draft and your *** would be over there. so next time show some respect

I support the troops 100% , I also support the war they are fighting. I know exactly what you are talking about. As a military wife who just got her husband home from a deployment, I have seen first hand how much people don't support the troops and will say just what they think. I live in a liberal state and have had people ask what I think of my husband being a baby killer( Funny he didn't kill not one person when he was deployed) , I have had people ask why is he sooo stupid to join the military and be a killer. His job , a union, blackballed him and told me straight out that they don't support the troops.

I don't think anyone said they didn't support our troops. They are just doing their jobs. They can't help it if they were forced to go to war over oil in a foreign nation because our country is being run by an incompetent, oil happy, arrogant war monger.
I'm a Liberal who supports our troops.
It's the idiotic moron in the White House that doesn't deserve, nor will he receive, my support.

Brittany i think,as a matter of fact you need to clean those glasses! How can you support a war that was started with deception? They talk about weapons of mass distruction now where are the weapons of mass destruction? Not even a spoonful trace or sample to show the public as evidence? How can you support looting? You go tear up someones country for their oil and whatever resources they have. You rape and kill women and kids. Bcuz a person chose to defend their country's oil and other natural resources you call them terrorists. I supported the afghanistan war bcuz of 9/11 which again has alotta controversy which even the media cant mention.

What exactly in your mind is something that someone has done that doesn't support troops? Let's start there.

In my mind, supporting troops mean you vote for veteran benefits, you vote for a substantive GI Bill, you only bring troops into WAR as a last resource. With that mindset it is democrats that are supporting the troops. Republicans vote AGAINST veteran benefits, AGAINST a decent GI Bill, and war was being advocated from them although the United Nations was saying there was no need to do such a thing so quickly.

Of course this is assuming you are talking about the current war, or more accurately, occupation.

I have never heard anyone not support the troops themselves. They simply do not support a pre emptive attack on the sovereign nation which is Iraq and spending billions we need here in the US
