hi i am 17 yr old and i do want to join the army or marines. but i am not sure which of the 2 to choose. However i do understand that special forces are not avaibale to all women? or is it not at all? i want be in iraq and solve missions and have adventure, as far as anything to loose i have nothing to loose.
please help if ur expeienced it be a big help!

go to www.goarmy.com. at the top there is a tab that says "careers and jobs" or something like that, and it'll say match your interests. click that, and you'll be taken to a survey type quiz. after you finish that it'll give a list of all the careers suited for you. good luck |

Women aren't allowed in the Special Forces, however there are other jobs that you can choose from that will allow you to be out there and satisfy your need for excitement. |

Well first Thank You for your interest in serving your country! In my opinion you have to think of how many years do you want to commit too. Different branches of service offer different options. Then definitely talk with a recruiter read him or her up and down their person will help you decide who you would like to be like. Combine that with the things that they can offer and compare the pros and cons of each. Some branches can also offer exact job skill training and others can only offer the field of jobs. Then upon first assignment you could be doing something totally differ than you expect. |

Army will always guarantee your job, Marines will sometimes, not often guarantee your job. With the Army you could guarantee the job you want, even an exciting one. With the Marines you have less control over job choice. |
