I wanna be in the army?

ok i whanna be in the army or military (idk if they are the same) and i dont know how to tell me mom and idk even if i should tell her yet cause im only 14. but how should i tell her and when should i tell her?

To be honest you're too young to tell what you want to be. You don't know enough information about the military or what it does. Try joining Civil Air Patrol or JROTC to get a small taste of what the military is like(ages 13+ can join). After that you can decide if you wish to go for a military career.

You can start by taking JROTC, to get a feel of what the military could be like and if its something you truly want to pursue in the future since you cant just yet. Let her know you're interested in seeing what its about so if you can join JROTC, its truly not for everyone. You still have a few years to think about it though so dont rush yourself.
