I'm 17 and I really wanna be an infantry soldier. It pisses me off seeing kids my age wanting to go in also but don't have the same heart as i do, just because they played call of duty they think their ready. I go hunting and live in forest and go outside and workout a lot unlike most people that stay indoors and watch tv and play video games. I can't explain all is what i feel about this but when i go to the army in canada i wanna be the one that stands out because i wanna get deployed i'm ready to serve my country. Just like human beings have done ever since the beginning to defend and attack.

i have all the requirements what do you think would be the best choice of military/army infantry i should go to that shouldnt be a problem?
such as: canada army
us army, marines....... whatever you think?

ok here the jest of it, recruiters will help you out and give you answers, but they are really worried about getting your signature on paper and you sworn in.
If you want good answers talk to vets and current enlisted. Listen to their conversations. Go to a local NG Armory, and tell the recruiters there you just wanna observe. I spent 8 yrs in and did an 18 month tour in Iraq(OIF 3). I wouldn't know where to begin telling you stuff.
I highly encourage you to do the military though. For the Army infantry you be stationed for ICBT (INFANTRY COMBAT BASIC TRAINING) at the beautiful and glorious Ft.Benning, GA.(Home of the Infantry). No women no distractions and PT all day. Hell the beard goat women serving you mashed potatoes starts looking do able 3/4s of the way through. Infantry MOS code 11B
For the Marines depending on which side of the Mississippi your on you will go to Camp Pendelton, CA. or Paris Island S.C. ( The Land God Forgot). Where you will run, run and run some more.
Each one has its ups and downs, its up to you to choose. I highly encourage your journey into the military, and whichever branch you choose. My your career be long and fruitful. |

So then enlist...
You can join at 17 with parental consent, or you can wait until you're 18 and join on your own.
You can go in the Army or Marines (considering you meet the requirements) and go in infantry. Which of those to join is up to you. Do some research. |

The military will allow you to join at 17. I do believe someone has already informed you. I suggest you follow your heart to which ever branch you choose. I've been a soldier and I'm currently a Marine. I am a machine gunner and I love it. The Marines are for me. Find out what's for you. |

if infantry is really what you want to do...then go for it. but just make sure that you are totally committed to that because one you're there....you are there. the government does not like to break contracts. the marines are okay. but i think with your personality you might enjoy the army better! |

Join the marines.
In the marines failure is not an option, you always think of new
ways to improvise adapt and overcome and you will be victorious.
The marines are trained much harder mentaly and phisically, and
every marine is a rifleman. The marines are much smaller in
numbers so they always have to think of ways to overcome the
situation. And they use there outstanding training to do this.
The army on the other hand is not as diciplend and has a verry
diferent mindset they also do not have the training that the
marines have. examples of the marines great sucess are Battles of
Incheon, vietnam, the chosin Reservoir, iwo jima, guato canal,
iraq, kuwait, al qaeda. But when it comes down to it its really
just different uniforms, different missions but were all fighting
for the same flag
