The ASVAB is not going to be the hardest part of qualifying for ATC--a lot of it is logic based. Study the ASVAB in general and score as highly as you can, but the one test that trips most people up is the depth perception test.
At MEPS, you'll be given a block of clear plastic with five rings on it. Four of the rings will be printed on one side of the block, one ring will be printed on the other side, so it will be closer to you. Your tester will ask which one appears closer, and you will reply with 1-5. The block is a warm-up, and very easy to spot. Then you'll actually take the test, using a machine with eyepieces, same routine. If you have trouble with those hidden picture 3-D posters where an image appears to float out of the picture, you will probably have a tough time with the test. Try looking "through" the rings, and wait for one to float in front of the others. This is NOT a timed test, so take your time.
If you qualified for ATC, you'll also need to pass color vision and speech test (reading aloud for an evaluator) at MEPS, and then pass a flight physical at Lackland (chest X-rays, more color vision testing, sometimes another depth perception, hearing test).
IF you pass through all this, you'll head to Biloxi, MS for tech school, where all the fun starts.

Just study the ASVAB itself. I studied the week prior to actually taking it and qualified for Air Traffic Controller. The ASVAB itself consists of many different topics, ranging from science, algebra, mechanics, and so forth. You must also take into account that your eye sight also plays a role as to whether or not you can qualify as does your ability to gain a security clearance.

Go to your library or book store and find an ASVAB study guide. A good one is ASVAB for Dummies. They want you to have a certain score in the General field. That's a mixed bag of stuff you should have learned while you wasted your time in school.
