do you think it's a good idea .
im 19 and I want to get a good education and become something of myself . and is there a height requirement because im 4'10 .

hey shorty, your height wont be an issue.
any branch you join you will get the gi bill, but dont think you will earn a degree while on active duty, it all depends on your job, most are to busy, specially if your out on sea.
its a good idea, you will get to travel to other countries, and you would be proud that you served your country for the rest of your life. their is a lot of good benefits too. |

I once saw a Navy SEAL so short he looked like a middle school kid from behind....I am not joking. He obviously packed the gear to do the job though! |

no there is no height requirement as long as you do not have a genetic disease such as dwarfism.
you will probably be picked on but with a thick skin you will do fine. here's a fun fact.. the smaller guys tend to do BETTER isn SPECWAR programs. ever hear of Tunnel Rats? those were little guys cuz they fit into the VC tunnels easily and were able to do their magic. |
