When I was young I too thought of it.
You are too young. Maybe after 2 years you can reconsider this ambition again.
If you really want to go in army its your goal, and you wont be content with any other job.
You are not wasting life. Do whatever you want but also be sure it is a good career.

You have ask this question so many times....that is up for you to decided. Your 14 who knows how your life may change in 4 years. I don't think any military service is a waste of time.

At least graduate high school first. It certainly won't be wasting your life. It's guaranteed pay, food, clothing and housing. It's a great way to get on your feet if you don't want to go to college.

If you get to do what you truly want to do and you really enjoy the challenge and depth to your profession and you get up every morning saying to yourself that you enjoy what you are doing then no matter what people say you will be happy and content.

At the end of our time if you can say to yourself that you've enjoyed your life and had loads of experience then it will not be a life wasted. It doesn't matter if one works all their life in the mechanics field, serving other people food in a restaurant, being a police officer, a soldier or doctor or lawyer or for that matter President or Prime Minister....you should enjoy what you do and as long as you find value in it it can never ever be time wasted.

Enjoy you life young one...have fun....it's the only one you are going to get!!!!

Simple to answer this one Son, If this is what you want to do, then do it. There is no chance of you wasting your life if you are doing something that you believe in as strongly as you believe in doing this.

Finish high school and do at least one year of college first. That's five years of figuring out what you want to do, and if your Army dream hasn't changed by then, then go for it.

I would say if that is what you want too do...go for it, you still have 4 years to make a final decision. But do they offer R.O.T.C. there in the British Columbia, if so than go into it and you will get a little taste of what you are headed for another thing, go to a graduate school for the military so that you could go in as a lieutenant. I work on a military post and my son is getting ready to join and I totally support our armed forces. No part of life is ever a waste....always think about it as a learning experience.

Well Better to get a job of a nursing assistant duty in a hospital in the nean while by 19 th 0r 20th apply to britidh army,
serve for say 7 yrs or so nd you can opt to get out,

Every guy usually has a fantasy sometime or other about joining the army often due to overuse of video games. It depends on the reasons you want to join. In my opinion the army would be a waste of time, wars will come along sooner or later and you won't have a choice whether to fight or not.
