If it USMC, it's Scout- Sniper
If it's USN, it's SEAL Sniper
so is it possible to be Scout - sniper then join the SEALS ?

Well I am in top physical condition and have experience in weapons.

*sigh*...ask the recruiter about the "Joint Amphibious SEAL Scout Sniper Program Enlistment Option"; its not very well known and only reserved for those recruits who demand it; it's like a double major in college. You go through Navy Boot followed by USMC boot then your off to BUDS followed by Scout Sniper School. And the best thing is you get to choose which uniform you wear! It's a little hidden gem of a program. |

You can't just sign up for the marines and say I want to be a sniper and they hand you a sniper rifle. You have to prove your self that you have what it takes. You have a better chance of becoming a scout sniper anyways.To become a seal you have to have natural talent and smarts. Most likely you'll be recommended to be a seal than just sign up. |

Both of those are really difficult to get into.
Are you saying you want to be in the Marines as a scout/sniper then go into the SEALs with that?! |

my brother is in training to be a NAVY seal. He says they push you to almost death. Its hard only a few who trane make it to become a SEAL |

Join the USMC and if you fail out of Sniper school, you will still at least be in the infantry.
Join the Navy and fail out of BUDS (like the 90% who go there), and you will be swabbin the deck on a ship somewhere hating life.
