Ok, today I went to MEPs(Military Entrance Processing station) for the USMC. Just to let you know first I passed and I'm qualified. But the first part was the color blind test where you look at the ishihara pictures and make out the numbers. I couldn't figure out the green/red ones i missed like 8/15.. and failed that part. But after that I took a second red/green color test but this one was with lights. Like 2 small LED light bulbs that light up and were either red/green/white. And I passed that part 10/10.. So like am I partially color blind? I mean I just cant read those numbers in that big *** pile of dots sometimes. I can make out a FEW. BUT I passed the light test 10/10. so are they going to mark me as color blind or partially? idk its really wierd :[ if im color blind like this I feel like my life was a lie sorta..

If you can see the bad guys to shoot them, you'll be OK. The color blindness test is a holdover from the Navy, where various colors of flags and lights mean certain things, and you are expected to be able to tell which is which.
Just remember, pointy end goes towards bad guys, and you'll be fine. |
