Well then you don't know much about Vietnam then. |

No, several thousand people died in Vietnam. |

Over 50,000 American's lost their lives in Vietnam. How could you compare the difference? |
|

Calculate the total loss of American life in Vietnam, then calculate the total loss of American life in Iraq. Divide the total by the quantity of days we were deployed in Vietnam, and the quantity of days we are deployed in Iraq.
The solution to this equation will answer your question. |

No it isn't.
You had to be there to understand the differences. |

Not even close, if you think that then read more up on the Vietnam war and you'll understand. |

You all are idiots... the number of our military who have died is a fraction of those who died in as many years in Vietnam. Get a life. |

NO, THE DIFFERECE IS JUNGLE WARFARE VERSUS URBAN WARFARE, NAM WE LOST 58,000, SOLDIERS, AND IN IRAQ 3500,ALSO KEEP IN MIND THAT THE WEAPONS OF THIS DAY ARE MORE SOPHISTICATED, THAN IN VIETNAM |

3,000 in 4 years to 50,00 in 8 years. It will never be that bad. |

It is way worse. The consequences are far more complex and far more in numbers than what happened in Vietnam. Vietnam was a travesty and was an embarrassment on the U.S. The war in Iraq is going to be felt for generations since it is draining our treasury and our country's resources. |

Depends on how long it's going to last. But I'll say this-- Bush/Cheney are responsible for more American deaths due to Iraq (this Doesn't include Afg.) than 9/11. (And that's only assuming they had nothing to do with 9/11itself, if you're one to believe the nonsense they're selling.)

Hmm that's a toughie. I would say they are about equal as of now. But if the war in Iraq continues for years like most people think it will, then it will be worse than Vietnam. War is never good & there are always people killed & families hurting. |

Almost 200 people died TODAY in Bagdad alone. About 6 Virginia Techs in one city on one day.
It is begining to resemble Pol Pot's Cambodia more than Vietnam.
Almost 5 million refugees including almost the entire Christian Population of Iraq.
We are going from bad to worse, our occupation is becoming one large Crime Against Humanity.
