Reality says we'd still be playing chicken with the UN, and 10,000 more homicide bombers would have gone off, The rest of the mid. east would be arming up with Russian weapons.

Well, lets see... only 10% of the hospital capacity would be open, just like when we got there. Uday Hussein would still be travelling around to his schools, picking out and raping 9 year old girls. Saddam would still be cutting out the tongues and mutilating the wives and children of his political opponants. Accused criminals, without trial would still me dismembered alive and fed to dogs, or dropped into metal crushers. Shall I go on?

Well Sadam would still be in control, so innocent people would still be dying... but then our soldiers wouldn't still be there dying... however, I think that what happened was right... even if it seems so wrong... |

2018 "Uday Hussein has ordered the UN weapons inspectors out of Iraq."
"Co-Presidents Barbara Bush and Jenna Bush Bush jointly have dispatched the flying saucer battle Group lead by the USS Newt Gingrich to the Persian Gulf."
Get my drift? I could care less how good, bad, or indifferent Iraq is today. At least Iraq is not going to be another North Korea. |

to add to SGT 's great answer, the No Fly zones would have been going on 15 years old, the Middle east would have millions of more dollars flowing from Saddam to terrorists as he was intending. The UN would be on it's 300th LAST chance resolution. |

Even the Iraqies are saying they wish Sadam was still there!! That says alot for the American invasion....(follwed, embarrassingly, by us, the British...a smalll country that can not afford the £40 million a day it costs to keep us there)...or can we afford it??
