Here here, I agree alas the people that run this country have little or no regard for it's citizens and believe we arn't capable of making decisions.

I believe that if lots of us vote BNP at the next election then this might scare them into finally listening to the majority rather than pandering to a miniscule number of ethnic groups.

The sooner we start refering to immigration as "invasion" the better because that is what is happening. How many shop signs do you see written in a language other than English. How many official forms are written in 20 languages and at what cost ?

The main reason, in all the Western countries that believe in equality, is that in order to stop immigration for that reason the politicians would have to change the law, and they know that any politician who proposed or voted for such a change would be called a racist.

When terrorists finally manage to detonate a nuclear bomb in a country that contry's politicians will probably be able to find the courage to act (but only because they'll think doing so won't stop them from being reelected). Until then, there's not much you can about it until Muslims become the majority population in your country. Then your country will be ruled by the Islamic laws of Sharia, and either you'll learn to bow to Mecca five times a day or you'll pay your jizya (special tax for unbelievers), and be quiet like good dhimmis.

Thats one of the reasons why I left for Thailand where to get a long stay visa, you have to have enough money to support yourself, and pay for medical treatment. Also no non-Thai individual can own land here.

You are not allowed to do any job that a Thai can do either. I Teach English. Few Thais can do that well,so I am able to get a work permit.

Commit a crime and if they catch you, you are either banged-up in the Bangkok Hilton (prison) or on the next plane home.....

Because our government are stupid and don't care about the plight of the ordinary, law abiding, non terrorist, tax paying British person.

They'd sooner fill our country with immigrants and crazed Islamic fanatics than actually address the problem and make sure decent British people (white black or asian) get a fair deal.

As for needing immigrants to fill "jobs that Brits turn their noses up at" tell that to most of my friends and neighbours who slog away in low paid unskilled work (often when they are skilled and able to do better) because there just aren't enough decent skilled jobs to go round. And many of them are being taken by immigrants (plumbers, mechanics etc) just because they will work for less.

I'm all for that. The trouble is that a terrorist doesn't need to be on the land to cause destruction. Thousands of planes fly through British airspace daily. All it takes is one dirty bomb. So then we could take the step of not allowing aircraft with muslims aboard fly through. They would then find another way to attack.

There are a lot of brits in spain - the spanish are not likely to close borders. Then there are other countries.

True - not all muslims are terrorists. But if one in every thousand is, then surely banning all one thousand will prevent an attack?

Or, make it compulsary that anyone comming through our borders MUST eat a slice of pork........

I dunno, but i can SURELY relate. I live in a town that borders Dearborn, Mi. And nothing against people who wanna come here and and just "be", but here its scary because its the largest population of Arab folks in the country today. Something like 200,000+ now. And they are nasty sometimes, have no politeness, and get downright mean toward people who say something to them and not on the same page. I have the right to speak out about it, because I have to live with them. And I know I can move away, but I was here first!
Anyway, if you were here, and experienced what I'm saying, you'd agree. The question is: If WW3 breaks loose tomorro, we here near Dearborn have to wonder...what would happen?
Not to mention the border down the street with Canada.
So unless you live here , or close to the Mexican border, I dont see what you would be concerned about- unless your towns cops arent rounding up illegals when they show up from time to time.

True not all Muslims are terrorists and its also true that not all non-terrorist Muslims would inform the police if they had information that would result in the arrest of one of their terrorist Muslim brothers or sisters.

There are plenty of good reasons why we should be actively encouraging immigration. There is a skills shortage in many industries, both skilled and unskilled. There are many jobs which 'brits' will turn their nose up at which immigrants, appreciative of the opportunity to come over to the UK, will take. The vast majority of immigrants come over to the UK and seek and find work quickly.

There are problems, yes, big problems in part of the UK, with crime and 'ghetto-isation'. But I can't believe that the answer some of you have is to shut the gates and kick all the foreigners out. This bigotted attitude breeds the mistrust and hatred that feeds terrorist motivation.

I agree that something needs to be done. Immigrants should not look at the UK as a soft touch/ a free lunch. But appreciate that immigration itself isn't the problem.

Don't be retarded guys and girls, you must be smarter than that, surely.
