That would probably be the shortest war in the history of the world. But the french as tricky as they are would probably have a declaration of surrender attached to their declaration of war so theyd end up winning the war by surrendering first.

unlikely scenario, but since everyone in quebec would side with the french.. the conflict would quickly end up in north america. and since the french really dig their nukes, would end up with north america being uninhabitable. of course, the brits would side with the canadians, the fight would also be across the channel. hmmnn.. north america as a nuclear wasteland and a 21st century amalgam of d-day with richard plantaganet's crossing. cool idea for a sci-fi premise.

If only those two countries were involved, France would win. France is a nuclear power, Canada is not. Of course the UK would come in to the defense of Canada with its nuclear arsenal.

You insinuate a lack of bravery. Better look at your history again. Both fought very bravely in both World Wars.

If you look at both countries, they both have accounted for themselves very admirably in previous centuries. Napoleon damn near conquered the world.

Of course we know how France was occupied by Germany during WW II....

Canada on the other hand was involved in WW I before the US finally got off thier asses and joined the fight. There are songs about brave Canadians- men who fought and died. Units who held the line to the last man. Such is thier mettle. Canada isn't a push over. Just because they don't feel like getting involved with a war doesnt mean that they're cowards.

France? Well, if they stood to be in a better position financially there'd be no keeping them OUT of a war.
