If Gore were president for the past seven years, there would have been no Iraq war. No need for it. America would have spent the $400 Billion it dumped into a useless war in Iraq, on developing viable alternative energy sources. America would have been energy independent by now, our environment "greener", and economy healthier.
NASA would have been funded properly, thereby preventing the needless loss of two space shuttles.
America's infrastructure would not be in the state of shambles it is in today. (i.e. I-35 bridge would have been inspected properly and shut down BEFORE it collapsed).
Our high school graduates would have be wooed by top colleges and universities not Army and National Gaurd recruiters.
The children in Darfor would be in school learning to read and write instead of in refugee camps praying for a home and a handout.
HIV in Africa would be on the decline and practically wiped out from most the industrialized nations.
America would be respected on the world stage for its leadership and philantropy, instead of ridiculed for its agressiveness and debuchary (i.e. read into this remark a veiled reference to the Abu Graib scandal).
IF 9/11 would have happened, the Taliban would have been routed, Bin Laden captured and prosecuted, and country of Afganistan restored to peaceful law and order under the watchful gaze of a multi-national UN peacekeeping force. The war would not have continued indefinitely or spilled over into neighboring countries. |

If Gore were president we would probably have continued on with the standard policy of the last thirty years and dispatched a team of FBI agents and a few minor airstikes. Whether or not it is being handled correctly..at least we are participating in the war being fought against us since 79. Romare...that's just childish and unrealistic. |

No. All his friends in Hollywood wouldn't be routing for a loss if he had started it, as Clinton intended. |

I thought you were in Vietnam? If Gore were President he would be running public service announcements telling everyone to take their Prozac. |

Yes we would have lost, it would have taken Gore a term to decide who hit us on 9-11. |

Yes, and we'd all be praying to Allah. |

The war would not have happened. They was plenty of "chatter" in the intelligence community that Bush ignored, so 9/11 would not have happened either. For those who don't know--what happened on 9/11 had nothing to do with Iraq. Bush and Cheney should get a shock with an electrical shock collar every time that repeat this lie. |

Have the loser run again, last time he tried to have the court decide the election. |

The Iraq war never would have happened. We would be in Afghanistan and have probably been well into the 3rd or 4th year of civil reconstruction and de-Talibanization of the Pastun tribesmen, rather than still on search and destroy missions. |

3500 US soldiers would be alive, our borders would be secure, our allies would support our every move, and we still have a budget surplus .....if only.................. |

AlGore would have surrendered to the islamofascist scum and sent Tipper to tell them the US government had ordered every American to convert to islam or be burned alive like Clinton did to the people in Waco. There would have been no Iraq war. Saddam would still be murdering Iraqis and sponsoring terrorism around the world. |

If Gore were president Iraqi and Iranian soldiers would be marching down Broadway in New York while he has all our troops in Antarctica trying to figure out how to close the ozone hole and end global warming... |

If Gore was president, we would have a committee exploring what happened on 9/11 and how to respond, still. |

The war in Iraq probably would not have happened. The terrorists that attacked us on 9/11 came here in 2000 and trained in our flight schools. Later in 2000 the USS Cole was attacked. The terrorists have been hitting us WAY before Clinton, Bush and Reagan. They want us all to pray to Allah the way they do or they will kill us. To make this war political is stupid. |

Well he is not, and thank God for that. He would have been more concerned with global warming, than handling his business. We would have probably had more attacks since 9/11. |

It would have never started.
And hey doofus - Gore WAS the President. Bushie stole the election, and the supreme court let him keep the stolen office. President Gore got shafted, and as such so did the rest of the world. |

Why ask a question about something that will never happen? |

I don't think we would have had 9/11 or the war in Iraq if Gore had been president. |
