Compared to an E-1 ? or it depends of the base. I've seen some videos that Fort campbell has new barracks. Are all bases going to have barracks like that?

I am close to the base Ft. Riley and A lot of my friends are stationed there. Yes all bases are going to get redone into newer barracks. At Riley they have a small kitchen area they share along with a shared bathroom. Then each has their own room, that you need a key to enter. I must say the barracks are pretty nice and like I said you need a key to get into your room so if you dont like your roommate, just shut your door they wont be able to enter. Also No you will not get better or nicer barracks if you are an E-3 compared to an E-1. You will live in the same barracks. I know a lot of my friends (most of them in field artillery) have all different kinds of ranks and they still live in the same barracks. There are even some single sergeants that live in those Barracks. |

No, it will not make any difference at all.
The barracks your in, will depend on the unit you are assigned too.
While Fort Campbell has some new barracks, not all of the barracks are new.
They still have rat holes for barracks on post also. |

No, you could have a room with an E-1 or an E-4... Or you would have a room with and E-1 and an E-2.
E-3 is still just another Private. Just paid a little bit more |

What barracks you're in depends on your unit and what housing has available on post. Infact you'll probably end up with an e1/e2 as a roommate. |
