If I serve the required 4 years after NROTC, do I still collect money from GI Bill?

If I serve the required 4 years after NROTC, do I still collect money from GI Bill?

I want to do NROTC to serve my country and I will pay for college. If I only serve the required 4 years after college, do I still collect money from GI Bill for graduate school?
Does GI Bill cover some of the out of state tuition cost?
(And what stipend would I receive?)

bottom line is officers DO qualify for gi bill...so yes, you could go to grad school on the gi bill...i did...don't know how much it is any more but it's a set amount, in state or out of state would make no difference.

The GI bill is set up to be used as a cost of living help not to pay for school that is why you can still get some grants and thing like that it is not actually set up to be used as a way to pay your tuition. The thought behind it was that it was a way for you to go to school with out having to have a full time job to pay to live while going to school.
As for out of state costs it doesn’t matter the GI bill is a set amount every one gets the same thing unless your disabled vet then there are some other things that you can get on top of the standers payment.

The GI Bill is for prior enlisted soldiers who are seeking a college degree. If you went through NROTC you would become an officer. Therefore, you don't get a GI Bill. The only thing that is equivalent to the GI Bill in your case is an NROTC scholarship.

If you do NROTC you'll get a commission and go in as an officer. Officers do NOT qualify for the GI Bill.
