If the US enacts a draft and USES it going to Canada wont help you. Because in that instance what would have happened was that the Iraq War had spread out somehow involving another country. So therefore to protect American interests worldwide the Canadians would have to take up the slack in some other hotspot. So you d only avoid the US draft to fall into the Canadian one. Remember, this is the global war on terror, not VIetnam. If you re looking for an uninvolved country may I suggest Senegal or West Africa Republic? Other wise, the US or the Canadian may send you to Korea, or Taiwan. Maybe Colombia, Haiti, Azerbajian? Either way you ll be fighting in a American or Canadian uniform for who knows what...
Also, Canada has about 6,000 soldiers in Afghanistan as part of NATO forces. |

I don't know if they want you but you are always welcome to leave here. I am a veteran and fought for this country that you want to leave other than defend. One does not have to fight if they don't believe in killing or if they don't believe in the reason why but one should help those who are willing. |
