Yes, I know this in reference to what's going on in Iraq. The civilians have a right to defend themselves from 'invaders' if that's what they think we are. They do not have the right to pray on innocent people to incite fear. It's not a civil war over there as much as it is a gang war, if you think about it. They have a government and a military. They should use it.

It depended on who invaded. i mean if Venezula or Canada or some country like that came in, I wouldn't mind. Then, we might actually get the honest truth behind what our government is doing behind the scenes.

Yes, if you were to pick up arms, especially nowadays, if you kill any of the invading armies, the army will label you a "terrorist." it doesn't matter if you just shot the leaders or the grunts, i t wouldn't matter if you beleived that only some of the invaders were bad or if you thought you could kill them so they can go to heaven quicker; you'd be labelled a terrorist all the same.

Sure. It worked during the American Revolution. The Brits would line up like sitting ducks and Colonial marksmen would pick them off hiding behind trees and bushes. It wouldn't mean I was a terrorist, I'd be taking out soldiers, not innocent civilians.

Yeah, pretty much. Luckily we seem to have been blessed with never having to make that choice. I think we'd just use our military to keep them out of our civilian population, plus we'd probably nuke their home into oblivion. That was always my reason we should stay out of things we aren't in control of and be happy that we can defend ourselves and live in relative peace and quiet. We can't fix the world, we just do our best.
