good point. why all the people who are supporting this war don't themselves enroll , including their loved ones. all the rich men kids should enroll too!! the fact is that War always harms the labor and lower class people and its their kids who are in military and die. they die protecting rich man's interest. meanwhile rich gets richer!! rich man never puts their nation !st but their money. ie; they close down their factories and take them aboard. they leave a town unemployed in order to make more money. they exploit the labor, environment aboard and create animosities too!! |

Ah yes. Another ignorant left wing Bush hating liberal. Before you spout off your question, get your facts straight. There is no draft. If the Bush twins wish to join the military, that is their choice. Same with you. If you want to serve your country, join up. If not, then don't.
If the war is about oil, why am I spending over $3/gal. for gas? |

Because this is a volunteer military there genious.. If his daughters were to sign up for the military, im sure they would be going... |

No one "sends" anyone - America has a fully VOLUNTEER military, and unless his daughters would decide to enlist on their own, they are under no obligation to do so, and their father cannot force them either. |

This question comes up about 2 or 3 times a month. When you type in a question, Answers usually shows you similar questions that have been asked. Why don't you just look at those previous questions to get your answer and quit wasting our time. |

America has a VOLUNTEER Military force. We also have freedom & no parent can force their children into joining the military. We also don't have arranged marriages anymore, like some other countries still do! |

Because Bush who also be believing in basic grammar; also understands the concept of the all volunteer force. I was once a proud part of it; I understand it, why can't the leftists; who deem themselves more sophisticated then us "Cons" Why are they not able to grasp it? |

WOW, Have you proof read your question? Talk about sounding dumb.
So you think that Bush should send his daughters to the war. Did it ever occur to you that these ladies are individuals and not slaves. The service is voluntary and I guess the ladies in the Bush clan don't want to join the service.
By the way I never heard those arguments before. I have completely changed my mind about the war now that you have clarified that issue. Thanks! |

This same stupid question comes up again and again and again.
Bush's daughters are adults and get to decide for themselves, as has everybody in the armed services, whether or not to join. |

Yet another stupid question...but here's your answer...again.

Probably for the same reason my father didn't send me to war. He can't.
Don't be surprised if one of his daughters is fighting the war from his office one day. |

Come on now, like everyone else in the military you enlist by choice. There is no draft and it isn't mandatory. |

We did attack Cuba, 40 years ago. No man on Earth would send his daughter to fight, no matter how much he believed in the cause. That's just ridiculous. We also attacked North Korea 50 years ago, and have maintained a military presence there ever since. |

How many times can this be asked? Infinitely unfortunately. And the answer stays the same. It's a volunteer army. if they choose not to serve then They Choose Not To Serve. |
|

it's a volunteer force made up of those who have realized that they owe something to our country. when politicians' kids realize that (which they probably never will) then they'll enlist too.
or we can wait for a draft... |
|

AMERICA ROCKS!!!
 |
We are volunteer military not a "lets force our children to be in the military". At least we have a choice. |

He did not go over to Vietnam when we were forcing people to go against their will and you expect his kids to go over with a volunteer force?
Bush's are exempt from law...Bush Jr. has said so |

At first I thought it was about oil, but it would have been a hell of a lot cheaper for us to simply buy the oil from iraq than launch an all out war against them, so I don't know that it is about the oil. It certainly wasn't about 9/11 or Al Queda, and I thought this was a ploy from the beginning. I don't think it's about spreading democracy or taking down a terrible tyrant, because there are plenty of places in the world that are just as bad. All in all, I think this war has significantly weakened the future of the US, both economically and politically. As far as I can tell, this president and his administration may be one of the most incompetent ones in history. It makes one question the checks and balances that were put in place to prevent this kind of thing in the first place.

This is a rightous question, cause this is not a war, its policing a country, and how can you do that when they love bloody insurgency there? Generations of it can't be policed away! I don't want my daughter or son blown to pieces by bomb loving nuts who they have to decipher if thisone or that one is a terrorist. War is in your face, and we are just protecting the gas pumps,so why not say it. Real war is quicker and less painless than this dribble our kids are dying for. Bush is an insufferable politician with no back bone. |

Why hasn't he sent Cheney's daughter, or the rest of the children of those in the Senate and Congress?
Never happen! I think there are about 3 who have had children in Iraq!
You must be happy Leah. You can talk all you want but never have to serve, unlike my generation! |
