If the base is relatively isolated, off-base apartment rent might be cheaper. |

Are You Serious?

First of all, thanks to your boyfriend for fighting for America. Now, get your silly fantasy out of your head about moving in with him. You are 16. Grow up a little bit. |

no, according to the army you have to be married to live on base with him. |

only if your parents sign you away for marriage.
honestly i wouldnt recommend you do this. as valid as your feelings of love are, youre still a teenager and trust me, your wants and needs in a mate will rapidly change over the next few years. |

Wow finish high school and graduate..then see where you stand and how you feel. Also, the test of time will judge how strong the relationship is. |

If the army is paying for his housing then no. You have to be married. |

actually regardless of what anyone says
it does NOT matter on what state
the military has different rules!
if you are not married to him you mean absolutely nothing to the military. if you're not married to him you cant live on base with him.
you can't get married til you're 18, altho you could with parental consent but thats just stupid. wait til you can actually sign the papers yourself before getting married.

No you can not move in w/ him. As an unmarried enlisted soldier he is not entitled to BAH. He will therefore reside in the barracks. You can not stay there w/ him. Also you are minor. So unless you have permission from your parents to marry him or are emancipated he can get into trouble for dating you. |

Sorry but no you guys have to be married first. I believe you have to be at least 18 yourself for a marriage license. Unless he gets his own place out of the barracks then ya....... |

You have to be married and even then I think he has to live in the barracks for a time....and definetely not when he is in basic training...even if you are married. I wouldn't recommend it at your age. The military expereinces a very high rate of divorce. Many young soilders want to marry young so they can move out of the barracks and get a little boost in their income for being married. But combined with your ages and the high chance for divorce anyway, I'd advise against it. |

If he gets a flat and lives off base. (If he were in the RN he would need permission for this) Then you could live with him.
If you want a married quarter, then you have to get married.
Personally I wouldn't recommend it. |

Nope. You can only move in with him if you are married. Not to mention he can get charges brought up against him if they found out he was having relations with a 16 year old. Military law (UCMJ) states they have to be 17 for a military member to be with them. |

No, not yet. You have to be married to him to live with him. And considering your age you are too young to marry him. |

oh didn't tell you about the female prisoners...you can use them as treats for your soldiers.... |
