If i join the marines?

is there a chance that i will put into the reserves??because i want to be a full time soldier..please help

Enlisted chose if they're active or reserves when they enlist.

Officers works a bit differently and also depends on the program you went through to become an officer.

First off, Marine's aren't soldiers. They are Marines.

You can join the Reserves if you want, or you can go active duty. It is YOUR choice. Just know that a lot of MOS are full now.

when you go to the recruiters office they will ask you if you want active or reserves... if they don't ask tell them you want active.
don't let your recruiter tell you what you want to hear ...
make sure everything goes how you want it. an addition,make sure when you sign the contract your job that you want is on their..

To reiterate, Marines are Marines...not soldiers (that's army).
So now that you will (hopefully) never make that mistake again :)

If you sign up for active duty, that is what you will be.
