Where are your stats and research dude. I mean I've been in fights in bars and clubs and I have ALWAYS been outnumbered 2,3,4,5 or even 6 to 1 or 2. So yeah, I might get kick my azz kicked or cause several civves some damage before its broken up, but I never see a straight, toe to toe, one on one fight anymore. By anyone. You kids can't throw from the shoulder.

It's the military's job to protect civilians. Obviously, the military people are letting the civilians win. They would violate their duty if they fought back.

Oh come on, do you really equate toughness to performance in bar fights, etc? How do you suppose these 'tough civilians' would stand up to being shot at by an AK or perhaps a Soviet manufactured machine gun or RPG? I would like to see your tough civilians last 2 minutes during a mortar attack or make it through a VBIED attack, that is tough, not winning in a street fight, but if you want to test that theory, come on down to Ft Benning sometime and i'll take you through a typical day of Ranger training and you tell me how tough you are.....i'll keep your cell phone handy to call your mommy.
