No. To each of ones abilities to each of ones needs.The USSR lasted about 72 years.What I quoted above is what the Marxist believes in.The USSR built one of the largest navy ever known but it didn't last.
Back in 1990 the Soviet Union fell apart just because it could not afford to keep up with the US in the arms race. The Soviet Union just about went bankrupt because of that. When the United States was first settled Plymouth colony tried the marxist approach to living. Everyone worked for a common goal and put their goods in the central warehouse and everyone took what they needed. Some people found out they could get what they needed without working for it. The people who worked was supplying the people who didn't work. Finally it was decided to give each person their own plot of land, work it and keep what they produced for themselves. What was left over from their labors they could sell,barter or trade for goods or services.In other words the harder a person worked the more they gained. People who could not work were being cared for by the community.When the Government controls everything the only beneficiary is the government not the people. If the Marxists philosophy is so good why are so many people willing to come to the United States. Just go take a look at what the Cuban people are doing to get away from Cuba. They are doing it my any means to come to the United States. |
