Well technically they are called "warriors". In fact, range control over here at Fort Knox changed their name to "warrior ops". I know that you probably want what the common person calls a Army soldier, and that would be, a "joe" a "grunt" or a "gun bunny". |

Jarhead comes from the odd shaped cover on the Marine Utility Uniform. Leathernecks comes from the high collar on the dress blue uniform. In the early days of the Marine Corps, it was a leather band worn around the neck, so you didn't get your throat cut. Soldier's.....who cares....I was a Marine Sgt. |
