Not even World War three would bring back the draft.
Unmotivated draftees are worse than worthless in modern warfare. They are merely in the way. |

Without a doubt. With potentially Russia and China against us, we would need at least ten million men in the army alone to win such a fight, so the draft would ABSOLUTELY be brought back. However, thank God, this seems to be a long way away at this point and hopefully it won't come. But yes there would be a draft if WWIII came. |

There is always that possibitliy, but there are so many proud american's that I don't think a draft would be necessary, most would be more than willing to join just to fight for our country. Plus alot of us know that if you go willingly you will bring back alot more cash than if you were drafted. |

WWIII = global suicide. Your first inkling that a world war has commenced will be when you're TV and video games go blank from the EMP.. By definition, the world war will be nuclear.... if you think it will be conventional, you're living in a fantasy world. The events leading up to a world war may initiate a draft, but not the actual start of WWIII. |

Definitely. The current U.S. army is much lower than it was than the U.S. army before WW2. People might be inspired to go like after Pearl Harbor if something like that happened. |

Most people would be dead within a matter of weeks, so I don't think a draft would work.
To quote Einstein, "World War 4 will be fought with sticks and stones." |

This website provides valuable easy-to-understand information regarding the draft process.
I do not believe that the draft will be reinstated. Very unlikely! |

I think our government would eventaully bring back the draft. |

No, it would last around 45 minutes -- no one wins. |

It would be a nuclear war. There would be no need as we would all be crispy critters............
And those that were left would have legs growing out of their chests.............. |

Did you ever wonder why so many people volunteered for the service in WW2? Could it be because peoples countries were being invaded? If there was a WW3 most likely not matter how hard you tried to run from it you would be in the middle of it, you would most likely take up arms and defend your family just like in WW2. |

Yes. There are not enough 'volunteers' to fight in a WW. There is barely enough for the garbage we are involved in now. A WW would require a lot more troops. |

Yes. I truly believe that the draft would be readministrated!!! We are losing American soldiers at an alarming rate and you have our allies that are now pulling out from helping us, Yes they will reinstitute the draft process!!! : ( |
