Don't know an exact percentage, but it is more likely that any American will die in America just living everyday life than it is for a soldier to die in combat. |

There is no way to tell. It changes based on the fighting going on during your time in the army. Big difference in casualty rates between 1918 and 1978, or 1944 and 1994. |
