Stop it because it evidently is not having the effect they thought. Its pretty dumb really. Just cos they're sitting on a loada oil fields we want to have total control over them. Stop it and let them sort it out themselves, we didn't have people messing with us, we had to figure it out for ourselves and we've come out just fine. |

Prime Minister of what? Let's say I get to enact a couple of laws. Here goes:
Redesign the presidential war powers act to state that any military action requires the president and all members of Congress to actively participate in said action with M-16, ruck sack, and a Hoo-rah! No more sending young men and women to fight for Halliburton without leaders being actual leaders.
No more "police actions". The role of the military is to kill bad people, break things, and go home. Babysitting a corrupt government like the one that we installed in Iraq is pointless and a terrible waste of those fighting men and women.
When a veteran comes home, he receives THE BEST medical care, not some unlicensed MD that can only practice at the VA because they haven't passed their boards. Veterans should not be treated like 2nd class citizens like they are currently at the VA's.
Instead of using jargon that is inflammatory, actions that are unilateral, and money as the motivator, let's try to use diplomacy and seek peace first. War and/or military intervention as a last resort.
Enact a policy that ends our reliance on fossil fuels in general. Hydrogen cell, ethanol, etc. And by the way, there is no such thing as "clean burning coal".
Get troops out of the Middle East, especially Saudi Arabia. Osama and his ilk really were/are pissed at our involvement in areas they deem as holy, such as Mecca. Without a reliance on oil, we have little interest in that region, other than the survival of Israel. I believe that they can more than handle their own affairs.
It's only hard because we the people have only unscrupulous fools to vote for, and the majority of us are sheep. |
