No, they won't and can't kick him out because you are pregnant and unmarried. His child will be considered a military dependent and be eligable for health care from the military as well as other privelages (access to commisaries and post exchanges) for as long as the father is active duty. In the case the relationship ends, the military will also automatically deduct and deposit any court ordered child support from his pay to you. As you are not married, you will not be eligable for base housing or to be moved with him when he is sent to his first, and subsequent, duty stations. Congratulations on your new baby. And as for any other rumors you may here, the best thing is for your boyfriend to go to his TI or supervisor and get the answers. You can get good information here on many things, but it is always best to get the answers from the people who KNOW for sure. |

No. Not true. It's the United States Marine Corps... not summer camp! |

You can't be serious with this question. Why would they kick him out for it? How do you think people in the military have families? No he will not get kicked out. |

Your man isn't pregnant. So why would he get kick out of boot camp. |

Doubtful. Guys in Iraq are missing their children beeing born, so this is probably a no. |

Of course not! |

Who started that rumor. What a way to have a law suite filed against the marines for 'wrongful termination.' |

no i wouldn't think so, i don't think they could or it would be fair or legal, besides recruitment is so down right now that they need everyone they can get |

My buddy's wife is pregnant with their second child, and he's leaving soon for his third tour in Iraq. |
|

Gotta have more explosions!

Nope, it's just some nasty rumor that circulates about. There's quite a few floating around - if it sounds ridiculous and/or far fetched, you can safely assume it's false. |

No, they won't. But congrats on the baby, and I hope your 'man' serves with dignity, pride, and loyalty. And I hope he does the same for the corp.
Be Well!
AmyS....Thank you and your son for his service. |

No unless he does something dumb in BCT that gets him discharged or unless he gets chaptered out for failure to adapt other than that no |

No! they might tease him but not kick him out. |

Now if you were a man in the marines and 3 months pregnant, someone is getting kicked out of something. This is fairly common in the Marines, or so I have been told
Semper Fi my jarhead comrades!! From an old member of Team 2. |

No, they will not kick him out. I have never heard of that happening, and I have known a lot of military people. The military branches encourage family men to make the military their careers.
So who blabbed that you aren't married? |
|

Why should your man get kicked out of the military for getting his woman pregnant its not a crime or against military regulations.
So enjoy the bun in the oven. |

No, they won't kick him out.
And who ever said that if you're female you have the "option" of getting out if you get pregnant after bootcamp....uuh, not necessarily true. If you get pregnant early enough they may very well force you out. It's that whole "mission readiness" thing.
Too many women just to happen to get pregnant when it's time to deploy..... |
|

tercelclub
|
Nope! They can't do it. |
|

Mrsjvb
 |
yes. even though you are still pregnant, he is considered a single parent and thus ineligible to enlist. if he LIED about it, he just committed fraudulent enlistment and will be kicked out. |
|

DOOM
 |
No. If he lied to them about not having dependents that might be grounds for discharge, but that doesn't appear to be the case. |
|

axsooted
 |
no, they dont care. he'll get a little extra pay if he lets admin know. |
|

J'adore
 |
NO he will not get kicked out for you being pregnant.
They will kick women out if they happen to end up pregnant in boot camp.
They don't let you go thru boot camp if pregnant. They test you before they send you...
If you get pregnant while in boot camp or after you have the option to get out. |
|

No. It doesn't make sense |

No, lots of soldiers and marines have kids with their girlfriends. |
